Community Impact
Education
The Education Committee is composed of community members having an interest in the well-being and future of children and adults and their education.
The Goals of the committee are:
1) School Readiness
2) High School Graduation
3) Connection to College or Vocational Training
4) Community Resources for youth and adults
Financial Stability
The Financial Stability Committee includes members of the community who have a vested interest in helping families improve their financial capacity. They envision a community where families receive adequate support to become self-sufficient and successfully pursue their highest potential.
The Committee's goals are:
1) To promote and advocate a healthy financial environment for individuals and families.
2) To respond to community members in crisis by providing safety net services, such as food, shelter and clothing.
3) To promote coordination among providers of services for Financial Stability.
4) To increase awareness of and access to effective financial education and clothing.
Health
The Health Committee is comprised of members in the community who are concerned about the health and safety of all our citizens.
The goals of the committee are:
1) To create an environment in which everyone can be healthy and safe.
2) To improve residents' ability to engage in healthy behavior.
3) To promote safe and healthy choices across the lifespan.
4) To provide affordable and/or accessible health care.
These goals are achieved through prevention, treatment and promotion of health and safety programs, activities and initiatives.
